The start of 2017 have shown some improvements in terms of more tenders and a bit more activity. Many small and urgent assignmenst calls for agility and efficiency.

The fabrication workshop have presented more than 125 offers in varying sizes and are currently working for clients such as ExxonMobil, ConocoPhillips, Tenaris, Archer, Eureka and Randaberg Industri. Our ability to deliver high quality in a short amount of time has been awarded.

A recent assignment from Archer for five prefabrications of pipes and an access platform has added to the positive trend. This also involved welding offshore.

For Eureka ENGIE Fabricom is fabricating seven tanks from 1000 to 2800 liters.

Another very important client is Tenaris, for wich the fabricaton workshop has delivered a  30″ x 1 1/2″ WT conductor pipe requiring qualified WPQ procedures and ITP plan. More work for Tenaris will be done the next few weeks.

ENGIE Fabricom’s fabrication facilities are centrally located at the Norsea Base at Dusavik, close to the company’s main office in Stavanger.

Workshops and storage facilities are organised separately to handle a variety of materials including, carbon, stainless, titan and duplex qualities. The workshops are fully equipped with the tools and equipment necessary to provide products, which meet customers’ demands with respect to quality, delivery and cost effectiveness.

In addition to a wide range of welding machines, ENGIE Fabricom’s equipment includes advanced cold bending machines and laser measurement equipment. A cluster of subcontractors located close to the ENGIE Fabricom premises provides machining, NDT, surface protection including fireproofing and insulation.

All work is conducted in accordance with the highest HSE and quality standards including requirements set forth in the EU Pressure Equipment Directive. ENGIE Fabricom’s skilled workforce includes the multidisciplinary competence and experience necessary to undertake interdisciplinary assignments such as process modules and skids.

Communication between construction and engineering staff is organised in an efficient manner through proximity to the engineering offices and electronic access to engineering, material and logistical data.
