A delegation from Statoil New Energy Solution visited our modular construction yard in Hoboken and could observe the work now taking place with modules for Offshore wind.

The delegation was given a tour of the yard and presented with an impressive reference list of 17 substations delivered so far, one in design phase and two under construction at the yard.

The module now being prepared outside is for Merkur Offshore, previously known as MEG I. A 400MW offshore wind farm project with secure network connection, located approximately 45km north of Borkum in the German economic zone in the North Sea. Merkur Offshore will be one of Germany’s largest wind farms in the North Sea, contributing significantly to Germany’s energy transition plans.
